Social Justice Action Team

Social Justice Action Team (SJAT) meets the library (located in the church office) on the second Sunday of each month, immediately following the worship service.

Wesley’s Social Justice Action Team is committed to making the world a better place for humans and other living beings. We try to keep our congregation informed and active regarding issues of social justice and environmental sustainability. In the last few years we have hosted workshops for the Pachamama Alliance, Move to Amend, and the League of Women Voters. Recent SJAT programs have educated attendees on such topics as immigration reform, global climate change, gun violence in America, and corporate globalization. Visitors and new members are always welcome. For more information contact Robert Pethoud.
