We are so excited for the Pumpkin Fall Festival! The event will include live entertainment featuring “Spur of the Moment”, dinner, silent auction and bake sale.
Ticket prices are $25 and can be purchased at the Wesley office or after church on Sundays.
If you or a group you are part of would like to donate an item for the auction or bake sale, please contact Elizabeth Nixon at email@example.com or see her at church.
We will also be needing volunteers the day of for set-up, setting out dinner, clean-up, and helping with the silent auction and bake sale.
For more information, contact Vickie Healy at firstname.lastname@example.org
New classes are forming in September. Please talk to Pastor Karen if you wish to join Wesley and/or be baptized. The United Methodist Church believes in one baptism and we recognize the baptisms of all Christian churches. If you have been baptized before you do not need to be baptized again.
There are several spiritual formation, studies, and meditation opportunities at Wesley on Sunday and at various times throughout the week. In Winterberg #2 there is a 9:15am meditation group on Sunday. In Winterberg #3 there is a Monday morning bible study at 11am. On Monday evenings there is a 6:30pm bible study at the parsonage (see directory for address/currently reading Luke). Wednesday morning at 10am there is a book study in the Library conference room. The new book is “My Beloved World” by Sonia Sotomayor. Finally, there is a Women’s Bible Study on Thursday mornings and they are reading “Bad Girls of the Bible”.
The new term of Sunday School classes is set to begin on Sunday, September 16th, 2018. Classes for children begin at 10:15am in Education West. Adult Forum begins at 9:15am and ends at 10:15am in the Fireside Room. Youth Group begins September 9th at 1pm in the Winterberg Youth Room.
